Welcome to the Tignes Spirit Shop!!!
New for this winter, in the heart of Tignes le Lavachet, we introduce to you... the Tignes Spirit Shop! Get the lowdown on all our gear, direct from Tignes Spirit crew member Dave.
Dave and the rest of the Tignes Spirit team have been hard at work setting up our new shop which is situated in Tignes le Lavachet. You can pick up your snowboard & ski equipment or protective clothing direct from our shop or have us deliver it direct to your door upon request... Bonzer!
1. Where can we find the Tignes Spirit shop?
"We are based in Tignes Le lavachet, three or four doors up from TC's bar and opposite the Mark Warner Haut de Toviere hotel.
2. What does Tignes Spirit stock?
"We stock what we like, it's that simple... whether the brand is big or small!! We stock lots of independent brands such as
Funi and
EOS, which makes us totally different to all the other rental shops in Tignes and Val d'Isere. All the other shops stock the big brands like Burton but we tend to go for smaller quality brands like
Endeavor who provide us with the best snowboards (in my opinion) but aren't heard of by many people.... yet!

3. Are you an official dealer for the larger brands?

We are super proud to stock Endeavour snowboards and Storm skis as they are the new up and coming brands from Canada and the UK so it's good to support smaller, less commercial companies. We are fully kitted out it seems! Well done Hicksy!
4. Can people come to the shop to rent equipment?
"Yeah the shop is open 08:30am until 12 and then re-opens 3:30pm til 7 weekdays and allllll day Saturday and Sundays with closing time past 12 midnight! Customers an expect a great selection of top end skis and snowboards that you wouldn't expect to see in a hire shop. We also rent outerwear and protective clothing such as wrist guards, helmets, and bum pads so you don't need to spend extra cash buying them before your holiday!
5. But customers can still depend on Tignes Spirit's exclusive mobile rental service... right?!
"Of course!! We're the only rental shop in the Tignes and Val d'Isere area to offer a
mobile rental service that covers the whole Espace Killy. It extends to all parts of Tignes (including les Brevieres, la Daille, Val d'Isere and le Fornet. All you have to do is take a look at our website to see which package you'd like, and then fill out the request form or drop us an email to

6. What was the shop like when you first took over?
"The shop was the old tabac in le Lavachet so it was a total mess when we started! We roped in Les from the Loop bar to help us and he build the desks. Simon built us some service benches, we slapped up a bit o' paint and we were away and open!
7. Can you buy clothes, hats & ski/board equipment?
"You sure can! We are a rental shop but we also have brand new and second hand equipment for sale, as well as hats, teeshirts and hoodies. We also do servicing on all boards and skis, so if you've either just arrived in resort or you just fancy sprucing up your equipment during your holiday, be sure to give us a shout!
8. What do the Tignes Spirit crew get up to when they're not working hard kitting out the masses?
"Ride the park! We have a good crew this year and everyone is a good rider!"
