Absinthe Films have been churning out top quality snowboard movies for years, with some of the world's finest riders and filmers, pushing the boundaries of cinematography and covering all aspects of shredding; big mountain, park and street spots.
Dopamine
Their newest endeavour, 'Dopamine', is currently touring Europe along with a few of their featured riders and we were lucky enough to catch one of their stops in Hossegor, home to some of the world's best surf spots. The Billabong shop in the centre of town held a special pre-party where we were invited to meet some of the riders.
Riders
Victor de la Rue, Mattieu Crepel and Sylvain Bourbousson were all stoked to be touring through France with the film and Sylvain chatted to us about his days riding in Tignes, which he loves.
The film featured other big names such as Danny Kass, whose part heavily showcased some fine NoFish (binding-less) back country booter skills! Bode Merill's street section was off the chain and Jason Robinson's Alaskan spine lines were insane.
All in all, an awesome movie straight from the heart of snowboarding, which captured all aspects of shredding and was screened with imagination.
You can buy the full movie now, check out one of the premieres at a European town near you, or at least watch the trailer right here!
