Once again Tignes received snowfalls late on in the season. After weeks of sunshine, the weather turned towards the end of April, bringing with it plenty of fresh snow all the way up to the 7th of May, for a real end of season bonus!
While most European resorts had been closed for weeks, Tignes was still offering some of the best conditions of the season. The slopes were practically empty, lift queues none existent and with most peoples work done and fresh tracks around until the very last day of the season, these were easily some of the best days of the winter! And with most of the apartments in Tignes being rented for next to nothing, for those on holiday, the last few weeks were definitely the bargain of the season!
