Summer Ski and Snowboarding
There's a great deal of excitement at Tignes Spirit HQ in announcing the opening of actual CHAIRLIFTS, CABLE CAR AND T-BARS on the tignes glacier from the 19th June!! Perfectly groomed snow and amazing conditions await us.. and we don't need to walk up!
Come and ski on the 20 km of glacier slopes between 3,456 m and 2,724 m, practice cross-country skiing and sunbathe on the Panoramic terrace in a unique setting!
The Tignes Spirit shop (based in Tignes le Lavachet) will be open for ski and snowboard rental (day rates available), sales of all hardware and accessories and more.
GLACIER OPENING DATES
From 19/06/21 to 01/08/21:
Funicular:
7:15 a.m. (continuously until 9:00 a.m., then every ½ hours)
Last skiers climb: 12:30 p.m. Last descent: 1.30 p.m. (until 06/25/2021) then 4.35 p.m. from 06/26/21.
Cable car:
First ascent: 7:20 a.m. Last skiers ascent: 1:00 p.m. / Last descent 1:15 p.m.
TSD Vanoise and TK Termignon: from 07:20 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
TSF Panoramic: 7:20 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Snow wires Corniche 1 & 2 and beginners stage: until 12:45 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: No snowpark this summer 2021.
COVID-19 specific health measures:
A mask must be worn when queuing and throughout the ski lift and shuttle ride for over 11s. Given the forecast for attendance, the flow of the ski lifts and the ski area, there are no plans for a reservation system or, for the time being, to limit the number of skiers on the glacier. Hydroalcoholic gel available at the start and finish of the funicular and the cable car.
