The coach takes about 4 hours from Geneva and 3 hours from Lyon. These times are during good weather so the coach is often subject to delays during heavy snow falls. It is advised to book in advance (by phone or online) especially if you are arriving during holiday periods or on Saturdays. Also check time tables carefully to make sure the last bus doesn’t leave before your plane arrives! All timetables are subject to change throughout the year and each company runs different services at different times through the week so please check each website for up to date information. Bens Bus operate low cost shared transfers from various airports to Tignes. They have drivers who have professional driving experience in the French alps you can be confidant in their high standards. All their coaches are fully licensed and insured.

Ben's Bus is the only shared transfer company that operates airport transfers to Val d'Isere from Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon Airports. Their prices are about £49 for a Single and £89 for a Return, but they have some discounts for groups and children which means you could pay just £41pp for a Single. They have many buses on Saturdays and a few on Sundays but it is best to book early as they are very popular.
